Getting to Tarifa
- We usually fly to Málaga from Switzerland (flights to Cádiz and Jerez are also available) which is the closest international airport
- From Málaga you will reach Tarifa within 2hrs drive – there is a toll-road (AP-7) and a standard motorway (A-7) which take you to Algeciras where the motorway ends (on AP-7 you will encounter less traffic, one way charges amount to EUR 25)
- From Algeciras a curvy road takes you across a little mountain ridge which is lined by wind-mills indicating that the capital of wind is not far (20min)
- You will then descend towards Tarifa with beautiful views of the shore-line, the straight of Gibraltar and Morocco/Africa
- Cars: Rentals are available at Málaga Airport at relatively low cost (EUR 10-20 per day depending on the vehicle you are aiming for)
- Bus (not recommended): There is a bus from Málaga to Algeciras which stops in every little village and takes several hours, from Algeciras, you will have to continue by Taxi

Directions
- Arriving from Algeciras (Málaga), do not take the 1st exit Tarifa (above the village) but continue down-hill and take the 2nd one (2 minutes further by car, as you reach the plain – there are only 2 exits)
- Arriving from Cádiz (opposite direction to Málaga), you do take the first exit Tarifa
- Drive to the first round-about which has written TARIFA in huge white capitals at the center and take the first exit (right-turn) towards the sea (Calle Cigüeña Blanca)
- Take the first possible left turn (Calle Cigüeña Negra) – you will pass Hotel Tarifa Lances (to your left) and continue to the 2nd corner (just short of 300m) – this is where the house is
- When you look right, you should see the football pitch and the sea. The main gate is 50m down the road on the right hand side
- The access to the garage (direct access to the house) is on Calle Cigüeña Negra

- The house is part of the gated community “La Almenara”
- The community is between the Calle Cigüeña Negra (Black Stork) to the north and the Calle Cigüeña Blanca (White Stork) to the south (sea-side)
- The official address of the house however is Calle Huerta de Triviño 66N, a very short road no one actually knows and it is even hard to find on Google Maps
- We recommend to work with Calle Cigüeña Negra (taxi drivers will find it easily) or worst case MERCADONA super-market, after all, Tarifa is a small village
